Congratulations! Because your team has been invited to participate in the DARPA Lift Challenge, you are eligible for access to reserved team camping at Flite Fest 2026.
A limited number of prime position campsites are being held exclusively for invited DARPA Lift Challenge teams. On-site shower facilities are available.
100 RV campsites and 50 tent campsites are being held through June 19th for accepted DLC teams. To reserve these campsites, teams must use the DARPA-provided registration code in the promo code box to unlock the spaces available for teams.
Unbooked campsites will be released to the general public JUNE 20th.
RV Campsites
- RV Site Size: 20 ft x 50 ft
- RV Camping Rate: $200 flat rate
- 100 spots available
Tent Campsites
- Tent Site Size: 20 ft x 20 ft
- Tent Camping Rate: $175 flat rate
- 50 spots available
Camping reservations must be made online in advance.
No same-day or in-person camping reservations will be permitted.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in begins Sunday, August 2 at 8am.
- Daily check-in closes at 7 PM. No exceptions.
- Campers may arrive or depart at any time during posted gate access hours.
- Final check-out is August 9 at 4 PM. No late departures.

Important Camping Information
Please review all camping information carefully.
- Reservation holder must be 18 years or older and present at the campsite.
- Shower facilities and portable restrooms will be available on-site.
- Electrical, water, and sewage hookups are not available. Generators are permitted.
- Charcoal grills and open flames are prohibited. Propane grills are permitted.
- Personal golf carts, scooters, e-scooters, bicycles, e-bikes, one-wheels, and similar vehicles are not permitted on-site.
- Electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters are permitted only with a valid state-issued disability placard and must remain on designated paths.
- Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- The individual registering the campsite is responsible for all occupants and ensuring compliance with all event rules and policies.
- Federal laws apply on-site. Drugs, including marijuana, firearms, fireworks, and weapons are strictly prohibited.
- Proof of vehicle insurance is required.
- RC aircraft and drones may only operate within designated Flite Fest flying areas.

- Quiet Hours are from 12 AM to 7 AM.
- The NMUSAF gate will be locked from 9 PM to 8 AM. Entry and exit will not be permitted during these hours except for emergencies.
- Staff-operated golf cart shuttles will be available for individuals with special needs.
